Northern Airlines will shift to a summer schedule starting March 30, running until October 25, aligning with the IATA slot season. During this period, the A380 will make up the third largest market globally, following the UAE and the UK. The U.S. will see about 23 A380 flights daily, boosted by Lufthansa operating the Super Jumbo to Denver from April 30 to September 30. Despite this increase, overall flights are projected to be 13% lower than last year, primarily due to some airlines like Korean Air and British Airways scaling back their A380 services. Compared to pre-pandemic levels in 2019, flights are down 35%. Notably, various airlines will operate A380 routes this summer, including All Nippon, British Airways, and Emirates, though overall service has declined since 2020.
