The Global Fight League (GFL) is preparing for its MMA debut in April with a team format reminiscent of the old IFL. On January 24, 2025, the GFL held a three-hour draft to finalize rosters for its six teams, featuring notable MMA personalities as hosts. Tyron Woodley was the first overall pick for Team Dubai, followed by other prominent fighters like Gegard Mousasi and Junior Dos Santos in the first round. A total of 120 fighters were selected from a pool of over 420. Each team has been assigned a manager and coach, with complete rosters now available in anticipation of the league’s launch.
