Accuweather’s chief meteorologist noted that the higher snowfall totals could extend into Cape May County, with Atlantic City possibly seeing 5-10 inches.
Timing will be crucial, especially for travel along Interstate 95 on Wednesday afternoon, as early snowfall could worsen commuting conditions. As the storm progresses, significant snowfall is possible in northern New Jersey, New York City, and Boston, dependent on the storm’s trajectory.
The National Weather Service has not released a snowfall map yet, but it estimates varying snow odds over a 48-hour period, with up to a 70% chance of significant snowfall along the I-95 corridor. Following this storm, colder temperatures and potentially calmer weather are expected across the East.
