Google has announced the wide deployment of its latest Gemini AI models, including the 2.0 Flash Thinking (Experimental), available on web, Android, and iOS apps. The rollout began on Thursday, with free users already accessing the new features, which promise improved efficiency and speed compared to previous versions.
Users can now integrate various Gemini applications such as Gmail and YouTube, and file uploads are supported, with advanced subscribers receiving a larger token context window. A new “Deep Study” feature offers deeper research capabilities, although free users face limitations compared to advanced users.
Additionally, Google introduced a personalized model that leverages past search history to enhance responses, aiding in brainstorming and recommendations. The advanced features, which allow the AI to recall and reference prior chats, will soon support over 45 languages.
Overall, the new Gemini models include features for daily tasks, advanced inference, in-depth research reports, and personal search history-based assistance, with a distinction made between free and advanced user capabilities.
