Trader Joe’s has recalled 61,000 bottles of Gerolsteiner Sparkling Natural Mineral Water due to a risk of laceration. The recall, announced on March 12, affects 750ml glass bottles with labels in white, blue, and red, and specific lot numbers (11/28/2024 L or 11/27/2024 L). These products were sold at Trader Joe’s locations in several states between December 2024 and January 2025. No injuries have been reported, but the Consumer Product Safety Commission advises consumers to stop drinking from the recalled bottles and return them for a full refund without needing proof of purchase. Customers can contact Trader Joe’s for questions.
This is not the first recall for Trader Joe’s; previously, they recalled a popular organic acai bowl in February due to fears of plastic contamination. Additionally, a year prior, four items were recalled due to potential Listeria contamination linked to dairy products.
