Construction projects near Tinker Air Force Base are set to disrupt traffic along Interstate 40 over several days. Starting at noon Monday, the eastbound ramp from I-40 to Douglas Boulevard will close until 6am Tuesday. Additionally, from 7pm Monday, both directions of I-40 will be narrowed to one lane as traffic is shifted to new eastbound pavement, with lane changes continuing until 6am Tuesday. The eastbound Industrial Boulevard off-ramp will also close at 10pm Monday until 6am Tuesday. Further traffic adjustments will occur from 7pm Tuesday to 6am Wednesday, with both directions of I-40 transitioning to different pavements and the westbound off-ramp to Douglas Boulevard closing in the meantime.
