The 52nd edition of Ragbrai, an annual bike ride, has already made history by including a route that extends into Minnesota for the first time. The second day’s ride will take participants from Milford to Estherville, featuring a stop at Brown Park South in Minnesota. Jeremy Bartosh from Jackson County Parks expressed excitement about the event, which begins on July 21st.
Ragbrai’s full route includes various daily themes and pass-through towns over the week. Each day features distinct themes, such as “Thin Line Appreciation Day” to honor military and emergency responders, “Vintage Rug Brijersey Day” to celebrate the ride’s history, and “College Jersey Day” for participants to show their school pride. The ride will cover approximately 41.2 miles on Day 2 with an elevation gain of 1,103 feet. The full routes and daily themes have been detailed and shared for participants to prepare for the event.
