Celebrity Cruise, a subsidiary of Royal Caribbean Group, received significant recognition in the 2025 Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards, with multiple ships on the prestigious list. Notably, the recently launched Celebrity Rise and the classic Celebrity Millennium were highlighted for their exceptional service and amenities.
The Millennium, carrying 2,137 passengers, was renovated several years ago, while the Rise, which debuted in 2023, accommodates 3,260 guests. According to Amanda Frazier, president of Forbes Travel Guide, the awards reflect a shifting luxury landscape that prioritizes authentic experiences and exceptional services.
Four-star awards were granted to the Millennium and the Rise, placing them alongside renowned luxury hotels like the Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons properties. Five additional ships achieved a four-star rating in this year’s list. The five-star award represents the highest standard for hospitality, awarded only to establishments providing consistently outstanding service.
Additionally, the onboard fine cut steakhouse on the Rise received a four-star rating, while the ship itself failed to achieve a five-star rating like the Beverly Hills Hotel and St. Regis in New York.
